Pamela Mae (Lafferty) Williams

Bedford

Pamela Mae Williams, 67, of Bedford, died on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown.  She was born on January 22, 1953 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Walter James and Florence Grace (Shippy) Lafferty.  On July 25, 1970 in Winchester, VA she married James B. Williams and he survives along with the following family, two sons:  Bradley J. Williams and wife Dawn of Schellsburg; and Brian K. Williams of Bedford; three grandchildren:  Aleesha Sheirer and husband Nick; and Dylan and Brighton Williams; four brothers:  Ronnie Lafferty and wife Debbie of Schellsburg; Richard Lafferty and wife Roberta of Cairnbrook; Terry Lafferty and wife Betty of Schellsburg; and Tim Lafferty of  Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three sisters:  Debbie Dohoda and husband Frank of Schellsburg; Sharron May and husband Ed of Buffalo Mills; and Susan Ketchok and husband John of Cairnbrook, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers:  Gary and Kevin Lafferty and one sister Karen Frazier.

Pamela worked at Ridgetop Orchards and was a caregiver for many years most recently with First Choice in Bedford.  She was loved by her clients and their families.  She made many great friends over the years and she shared her compassion for their loved ones.  She also enjoyed playing games on her Kindle, spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids.   Her entire family loved her dearly and would always talk to her often.  She was really looking forward to the birth of her first great-granddaughter in March.  Pam was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and she will be greatly missed by all.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:45 a.m. at the Schellsburg Cemetery with Jim Miller officiating.  Those in attendance are asked to observe the recommendations pertaining to wearing masks and social distancing.
