Pamela Sue Blackburn, 62, of Tanglewood Drive, Bedford, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born April 27, 1950, in Roaring Spring, a daughter of Florence (Ritchey) Mock of Martinsburg, and the late Byron Mock. On September 8, 1984 in Bedford, she married John R. Blackburn III, who survives along with one son, John R. Blackburn IV of San Diego, CA, three sisters: Patricia wife of Raymond Bollman, Penny wife of Brice Burger, and Petina wife of Michael Albright all of Martinsburg; and a brother Pick Mock married to the former Kay Wineland of Delray, WV.
Pamela worked as a Case Worker for Bedford-Somerset MHMR. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and was a long time swimming instructor and former Assistant Bedford High School Boys Soccer coach.
Friends will be received Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford. Funeral Services will be private.
