Oliver W. Keel, 59 of Dogwood Road, Bedford, died Monday October 6, 2008 at Altoona Regional Hospital in Altoona. He was born February 23, 1949 in Roaring Spring, son of the late William and Elsie (Hann) Keel. On July 22, 1969 in Cumberland, he married Connie Lohr and she survives along with a son Oliver R. Keel at home and a brother Orville W. Keel of Bedford, four sisters: Mary wife of Jack Claar of Bedford, Rosie Reeb widow of Lou of Baltimore, MD, Dorothy Kagarise widow of Henry of Everett and Florine wife of Edward Sealover of Red Lion. He was preceded in death by a son Lawrence William Keel, three brothers: Norman, William, and Donald Keel, two sisters, Pauline Keel and Annabelle Berkebile, and one infant brother.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and had worked as a service station attendant.
Funeral Services: Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral in Bedford with Rev. Thomas Ekstrand officiating. Burial at Milligans Cove Church Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
