Norma J. (Dishong) Foor

Norma J. Foor 88, of Bedford, died Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at her residence.  She was born on December 24, 1935 in Bedford, a daughter of the late John L. and Nellie M. (Smith) Dishong.  On September 24, 1954 in Bedford she married Robert D. Foor, who preceded her in death on December 28, 1993.  She is survived by two sons: Mark W. Foor, and Brad A. Foor and wife Deanna, both of Bedford; two grandchildren: Brittany Pendelton and husband Shawn and Bradly “Bucco” Foor; two great-grandchildren: Malaia and Lillian Foor; and two siblings: Janet Crist widow Owen, of Hershey, and John Dishong and wife Barbara, of Everett.  She was preceded in death by a son: Joel Foor, and four siblings: Etta Foy, William Dishong, Joyce Clark, and Joseph Dishong.

Norma was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and loved her family dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. David Weinhold officiating.  Burial at Bedford Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m., until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Norma’s name to: Trinity Lutheran Church, 106 W.
