Naomi P. (Hubert) Bowser

Naomi P. Bowser 78, of Osterburg, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at her residence.  She was born on June 10, 1940 in Windber, a daughter of the late Henry and Audrey (Moyer) Hubert.  On February 14, 1959 in Windber she married Chester Bowser, who preceded her in death on September 28, 2012.  She is survived by three sons: A. Eugene Bowser, Marlin Bowser, and Wesley Bowser; a daughter Romelda Susan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a special “sister” Kittie Nelson. She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Naomi was a loving and caring person who always put others first.  She enjoyed cooking and always had something to share when friends and family would visit her home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 3:30 p.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Aaron McCarty officiating.  Burial will be held private.  Friends will be received on Monday, from 1:30 p.m., until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
