Nancy L. (Williams) Cessna

Nancy L. Cessna, 82, of Bedford, died on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born in Bedford on March 20, 1942, the daughter of the late Israel T. and Cora (Deremer) Williams. On June 3, 1962, in Cumberland, MD, she married Sam Cessna, who survives along with their son, Larry Cessna, and partner Kelly of Moseley, VA. Nancy is also survived by nine brothers: Tom Williams of Bedford; Jim Williams and wife Mary Jane of Huntsville, AL; Ron Williams of Hamilton, IL; Ralph "Butch" Williams and wife Delores of Bedford; Allen “Whitey” Williams of Bedford; Kenneth Williams and wife Vicki of Bedford; Terry Williams and wife Kay of Centerville; Jerry "Pee Wee" Williams and wife Wanda of Cessna, and Larry “Denny” Williams and wife Helen of Chambersburg.  She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Cessna, and 3 brothers: Robert, Frank, and Sheldon.

Nancy was a devoted mother and wife who cherished spending time with her family by means of picnics, reunions, and even an Alaskan cruise. She was a member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church and worked as a secretary at McDonald Chiropractic after raising her children and fostering many other children. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bedford Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 7, Bedford, PA 15522.  in her memory.
