Nancy K. Saxman 87 of Markwood Drive, Bedford, died Monday May 28, 2007 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born July 19, 1919 in Greensburg, daughter of the late Frank O. and Laura (Jennings) Keltz. On May 11, 1946 in Latrobe, she married Duane S. Saxman and he preceded her in death on May 22, 1961.
She is survived by four sons: Richard K. Saxman of Valley Forge, William C. Saxman and wife Deborah of Montgomery, TX, Jeffrey S. Saxman & wife Nancy of Osterburg, D. Scott Saxman and wife Allison of Sedona, AZ, 11 greandchildren and six great grandchildren and two sisters: Patricia Keltz Bonaker of Amsterdanm NT and Barbara Norante of Butler.
Mrs. Saxman was a member of Bedford Trinity Lutheran Church and had been the church organist for many years. She had taught piano and organ for 50 years, among some of her earlier pupils, Fred Roger Jr., who was know from television as Mr. Rogers.
Memorial services: Monday June 18, 2007 at noon in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond E. Short officiating. Burial in the Bedford Cemetery.
