Mildred H. Brelick, 91, of Frederick, MD, formerly of Bedford, died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Beverly Health Center in Frederick MD. She was born on May 24, 1916 in Joplin, Missouri, a daughter of the late William R. and Alva (Cook) Henry. On September 15, 1939 in Washington, D.C. she married Joseph Brelick and he preceded her in death on September 28, 1993. She is survived by two daughters, Joann B. and husband Douglas Fleming of Bedford, Susan B. and husband William Wallace of Stone Harbor, NJ, Three Grandchildren: William Wallace and wife Nicolette of Bloomfield, NJ, Kathleen and husband Kenneth Schoenburg of Delray Beach, Fl, and Matthew Wallace of Newport Beach, CA. Three Great Grandchildren: Ryan, Elizabeth and Franklyn. She was preceded in death by four sisters: June Reed, Mary Frances Claar, Ruby Lee Jones, and Fern Louise James, and one brother William Henry.
She attended Trinity Lutheran Church. She retired in 1972 from the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. She was talented artistically in painting China, making and reproducing antique porcelain dolls and figurines, landscape paintings and could sew just about anything from clothes to quilts.
