Michael Ray Hanks

Michael Ray Hanks, 80 of Everett, died on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. He was born on June 13, 1940, in Robinsonville, a son of the late Ray W. Hanks and Hilda (Messersmith) Weaverling. On September 19, 1966 in Frederick County, VA, he married Gail (Shaw) Hanks and she preceded him in death on July 14, 2005. He is survived by the following family two daughters: Joy Lynn Penrod of Breezewood, and Lee Ann Foor and husband Greg of Everett; a step-son, Ralph Daniel "Buck" Johnson and wife Brenda of Clearville; seven grandchildren: DJ Penrod and wife Nancy of Franklin TN; Robert Penrod and wife Kimberly of AZ; Jesse Penrod and wife Sara of Dillsburg; Mallory Lancaster and wife Tynicia of Everett; Hayley Foor of Everett; Brad Johnson and wife Lauryn of Altoona; Kelsie Morris and husband Tim of State College; and 12 great-grandchildren:  Keith, James, Shelby, Alicia, Ashley, Ryan, Braylin, Breeze, Ethan, Owen, Jayzin, Kaidence, Gia and Jase.

Michael drove truck most of his life and School bus for Everett Area School District.  His favorite past time was going to Marteens.
