Merle D. Price

Merle D. Price, 88, of Business 220, Bedford, died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Pennknoll Village. He was born on September 16, 1926, in Everett, a son of the late Daniel and Jessie (Mearkle) Price. He is survived by a longtime companion Ninalee Corley of Bedford, two sons:  Ray Price of Frederick, MD; Larry Price of Bedford;  three daughters: Cindy Graham of Coshocton, OH,  Denise Fetherolf of Sarasota, FL, Lisa Calhoun of Everett; 9 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; and one sister, Alverta Koontz of Everett.  He was preceded in death by an infant brother Clyde and a twin brother Veryle Price; three sisters:  Maxine Price,  Faye Beck, and Alvera Diehl.

Merle retired after 19 years from Bedford Valley Petroleum and prior to that worked 19 years at North Midway Plaza on the Turnpike with Exxon.  Merle enjoyed John Deere tractors.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at Rockhill Cemetery in Clearville, with Pastor Bryon Myers officiating.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.    Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
