Mason Marshall Hammond

Mason Marshall Hammond, 56 of Bedford, died on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at UPMC Bedford Hospital. He was born on April 5, 1965 in Bedford a son of the late Jerry M. Hammond and Ruth “Patty” Findley. On December 8, 1996 in Schellsburg he married Bridget (Peters) Hammond who survives along two children: a daughter Amanda Miller and husband Ryan of Osterburg; a son Jared Hammond of Bedford; and three dogs Anna, Sage, and Bunny.

Mason worked for MEC that was formerly Defiance Metal Products for 16 years.  He was a loving father and husband. He was a big history buff, outdoorsman, handyman, and enjoyed using his workshop to fix things and to help others.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
