Mary R. Shatzer, 81, of Virginia Ave, Williamsport, MD died Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Homewood of Williamsport Nursing Home. She was born on July 30, 1923 in Cumberland Valley TWP, A Daughter of the late Clyde Rose and Ida (Hite) Rose. On February 20, 1945 in Bedford Valley she married the late Jack C. Shatzer who preceded her in death on --------she is survived by a 2 daughters, Judith S. wife of Dr. Edward Lipski of Cresptown, MD, Kathryn Shatzer and companion Ruth Atwood of Carlisle, 1 son, St. James Shatzer of Philadelphia. 3 grandchildren Timothy and Daniele Lipski, and Emmarose Atwood
She was a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church. She worked as a secretary for Kelley Springfield Tire Company.
Funeral Services on, at from the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Preacher Grace Whitfield officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery. Friends will be received on at the funeral home.
