Mary E. Nace

Mary E. Nace, 96, of Bedford, died Monday, December 30, 2013 at Bedford Colonial Courtyard. She was born on February 3, 1917, in Torquay, Devon, England, a daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine Caldwell. In 1949 at St. Paul’s Cathedral in New York City, she married Edwin F. Nace who preceded her in death on April 23, 1993. She is survived by a son David A. Nace, two grandchildren: Stephanie and Matthew Nace, all of Lititz, PA.
Mary was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ and worked as a waitress at the Dairy Dell in Johnstown for many years. She enjoyed knitting and visiting with her grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January, 3, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Joseph Puleo officiating.
