Mary E. Morgart

Mary Elizabeth “ Betty”  Morgart,  80, of South Richard Street, Bedford, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the Windber Hospice Pallative Care Unit, in Windber.  She was born on May 20, 1929, Bedford Twp, a daughter, of the late William and Mary (Reighard) Fisher.  On October 17, 1953 in Bedford, she married  Paul J. Morgart who preceded her in death on October 12, 1994.  She is survived by the following family:  a daughter, Pamela Pullium of Indianapolis, IN, a son, Michael Morgart and wife Laurel of Bedford, a son, Richard Morgart and wife Cheryl, of Everett, a daughter, Cynthia wife of Mike Zimmerman of Everett, a daughter, Beth Heming of Phoenix, AZ, six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and three step-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by Five brothers:  Ralph, Jim, Charles, Frank, Gene, & Jim Fisher, one sister:  Dorothy Daywalt.

She was a life member of the St Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford, a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America, St Thomas Ladies Guild, Bedford American Legion Post #113, RSVP of Bedford County, Bedford Area Senior Citizens and the Respect for Life Group.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., from the St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Donald Dusza Celebrant.  Burial at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave, Windber, PA 15963.
