Mary Ellen (Mobley) Best

Mary Ellen Best 72, of Cumberland Valley, died Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  She was born on January 7, 1951 in Altoona a daughter of the late Phillip and Delores (Sensebaugh) Mobley.  She married William Best Sr. in Cumberland, MD and he survives along with three children: William Best Jr., and wife Jill, of Bedford, Carol Wolfe and husband Kenny, of Cumberland, MD, and Carolyn Gordon and husband William, of Ellerslie, MD; three grandchildren: Ashlyn Litzenberger, Tyler Brown, Dylan Price; four great-grandchildren: Marcus and William Litzenberger, Colton and Kinsley Brown; two sisters: Patty Felgar, of Roaring Spring, and Della Lingenfelter, of Claysburg; and a brother Phillip Mobley, of Texas. She was preceded in death by a brother Eddie Mobley.

Mary worked at Hedstrom and as a CNA and housekeeper for Dr. Newman.  She loved spending time with her family and dog Andy.
