Mary P. Kegg

Mary Pauline “Polly” Kegg 79 of Pond Road, Bedford, died Monday, November 5, 2007 at her home.  She was born January 29, 1928 in Rainsburg, daughter of the late Doyle Henry May and Mary Elizabeth (Mower) May.  On February 11, 1946 in Winchester, VA she married Merle Elwood Kegg and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1989.  He is survived by two daughters: Katie Lynn wife of Rodney Lybarger of Friends Cove and Betsy Lynn wife of Jacob Restly of New Baltimore, three grandchildren: Toby Lybarger, Dustin Lybarger and wife Leah and Lyndsey Restly, two great grandchildren Venessa and Devon Lybarger, two brothers: Richard May and wife Betty of Everett, Douglas May and wife Judy of Bedford and a sister Kathryn wife of Richard Hershberger of Osterburg.  She was preceded in death by two brothers: William May and Joe May husband of Eleanor May who survives of Bedford.

Mrs. Kegg was a member of Friends Cove UCC Church and was a former Sunday School Teacher.  She was devoted to her family that she loved very much.  Her interests were crafts and birds and she will be missed by her two kittens Chloe and Misty.

Funeral Services: Wednesday 11:00 am in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Pastor Joe Shawley officiating.  Burial at the Friends Cove UCC Church Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
