Mary Jane Ibarra, 88, of, Bedford, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born on March 11, 1925, in Bedford, a daughter of the late Frank W. and S. Ellen (Rose) Nagler. In 1950, in Cumberland, MD, she married Harry J. Ibarra who preceded her in death on June 15, 1984. She is survived by the following children: Edmund Ibarra married to the former Helen O’Brien, of Buffalo Mills, Rita J. Ibarra and fiancé Richard A. Walter, of New Paris, Vickie wife of Gary Ranker of Buffalo Mills, Ramon Ibarra married to the former Sandra Winesickle of Bedford, Corrinna wife of Brendan Winter of Bedford, Ron Ibarra married to the former Sharon Hollingsworth, of Greenville, SC, 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Ruthanne Whetstone, Cheryl Claar, and Sonia Ruppel, one granddaughter: Susan, one grandson, Philip, one great grandson, Michael, two brothers, George and Joe Welsh, and two sisters, Hazel Riggs, and Dora Custer.
Mary worked for Howard Johnsons Commissary, and was a sales clerk at the Silco Dollar Store.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Sandra Ibarra officiating.
