Mary E. Cessna

Mary E. Cessna, 77, of Orrstown, formerly of Bedford, died Sunday, November 17, 2014, at Green Ridge Village, in Newville.  She was born on May 24, 1937, in Bedford, a daughter of the late Fredrick C. and Ethel M. (Goodrich) Groves.  On July 18, 1955, in Cumberland, MD, she married David Lee Cessna, who preceded her in death on March 24, 1988.  She is survived by the following family: son, Anthony W. Cessna, of Orrstown, daughter, Pamela Y. Drenchko, wife of, Joseph, of Fayetteville, daughter, Sheila D. Clark, wife of William, of Apex, NC, son Christopher L. Cessna, of Cary, NC, daughter, Shirlene “Heidi” Wierman, of Cary, NC; five grandchildren: Tanya, William Clark Jr., and wife Amanda, Brittany Cessna, Malia Ramirez wife of Fabian, and Jonathon Wierman; three great-grandchildren: Anthony Levi, Sidney Harper Clark, and Addison Cessna.  She was preceded in death by four sisters: Marjorie, Phyllis, Freda, and Joan; and four brothers: Howard, Gene, Donald, and Michael.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., at Bedford County Memorial Park, with Pastor Jim Miller officiating.  Friends will be received on Wednesday, 1 hour prior to the graveside service at the Timothy A.
