Mary Lou (Carey) Seibert

July 1, 1935 — December 12, 2016

Mary Lou Seibert 81, of Egolf Road, Bedford, died on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home.  She was born on July 1, 1935, in Baltimore, MD a daughter of the late John and Gladys (Stewart) Carey.  She is survived by her husband Richard W. Seibert her beloved husband and best friend since August 29, 1953.  She is also survived by two daughters: Dawn M. Nave and husband Joe, and Pamela G. Kagarise and husband Matthew, both of Bedford; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister Joan Curwin and husband Gerry, of Sun City, FL.  She was preceded in death by two infant children and a daughter Deborah L. Seibert.

Mary Lou was a member of the Trans Run United Methodist Church, and retired from the Dietary Department at Bedford Hospital.  She enjoyed painting in her younger days, singing in the family band and was a very well organized and considerate person.  Mary Lou died as she lived with the expectation of being in heaven with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior, and God our Father.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Dr. Bob George and Rev. Beth Pyles officiating. Burial will be private.   Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.  Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Mary’s name to: Special Olympics, c/o Matthew Kagarise, 122 Mtn.
