Marlene J. Queer 84, of Connellsville died Monday, December 11, 2017 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home, Everett. She was born on June 26, 1933 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late George and Louise (Schlinger) Dill. She was preceded in death by her first husband Samuel Mortimore, and then by her second husband Bill Queer in 1999. She is survived by four children: Carol Palovchalk and husband John, of Bedford, Bill Queer Jr, of Pittsburgh, Daniel Patrick and wife Katie of Aurora, OH, and Vincent Phillip Queer of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren: Caitlin and Timothy Patrick; and a brother, Jules Dill, of Connellsville.
Marlene loved the outdoors, walking the trails, and swimming in the Youghiogheny River. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and playing word games.
