Mark W. Cessna

Mark W. Cessna, 48, of Rainsburg, died on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 7, 1970, in Bedford, a son of the late William A. and Ruth G. (Keller) Cessna, who survives of Rainsburg. On November 20, 1999, in Rainsburg, he married Krista (Cogan) Cessna who survives along with the following family, three sons: Liam A., Casey A., and Sean M. Cessna all at home; one sister, Trudy Beegle and husband Terry, of Rainsburg; one brother, James Cessna widower of Julie Llewellyn, of Rainsburg; six nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews.

Mark was affiliated with the Yeager Memorial Lutheran Church, in Rainsburg.  He was a Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps and served in the Gulf War. He enjoyed helping out at Cessna’s Butcher Shop and taking care of his children.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Jenny Barnes officiating.  Burial at Woods Church Cemetery, with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.  Friends will be received on Saturday, from 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
