Marie B. Doyle

Marie B. Doyle, 98, of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Bedford, died on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at her residence. She was born on July 29, 1927 in Duryea, a daughter of the late Charles and Regina (Sakowsky) Coleman. On August 14, 1948 in Portage, she married Thomas R. Doyle and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2009. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Robinson and husband Ralph of Sevierville, TN; four grandchildren: Kelly Robinson and wife Koset of Woodbridge, VA, Todd Hurm and wife Annie of Columbia, SC, Brett Hurm and wife Robbyn of Woodbridge, VA, and Ryan Hurm and wife Melissa of Jenkintown; and three great-grandchildren: Cori, Caiden, and Agustin “Gus” Hurm. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Coleman and two infant brothers.

Marie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford and retired after 32 years as a cook and cafeteria manager for the Bedford Primary School. She was an avid walker, and enjoyed volunteering at hospice facilities and the hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford with Rev. David Weinhold officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Monday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie’s name to Trinity Lutheran Church, 106 West Penn Street, Bedford, PA 15522.
