Marian M. (Waugerman) Bohn

Marian M. (Waugerman) Bohn, 98 of Buffalo Mills, went home to be with her Lord Jesus at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born on September 23, 1924 in Buffalo Mills, a daughter of the late Oscar and Maude (Holler) Waugerman. On February 21, 1946 she married Harold A. Bohn and he preceded her in death on April of 2004. She is survived by two daughters:  Roxanna Fichtner widow of Robert of Buffalo Mills; and Theresa Geisler and husband Jack of Cannonsburg; four grandchildren:  Rob Fichtner and wife Holly of Buffalo Mills; Stacy Imler and husband Shane of Bedford; Zachary Ritchey and wife Natalie of Philadelphia; and Spencer Ritchey and wife Anne of Pittsburgh; nine great-grandchildren:  Alexis, Raquel, Tanner, Trent, Lynsy, Emma, Eli, Frances and Samuel.  She was preceded in death by four brothers: Dalton, Roy, Harry and Oscar Waugerman, five sisters:  Amanda, Clara, Olive, Leona, and Inda.

Marian was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church of Madley.  She was a devoted homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother. She had a love for bringing family together with her cooking, baking, and family meals.  Her love and interest in her family kept her quick witted and fun loving.  In Marian’s later years she devoted time to her adoring great-grandson Tanner.  She always looked forward to his weekend breakfast of hot cakes and scrambled eggs over conversations about life itself.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 12:30 p.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with Rev. Kathy Popp officiating.  Burial at Madley Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday from 10 - 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
