Margaret E. Klages

Margaret E. Klages, 83, of Industrial Avenue, Bedford, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 12, 1930, in Bedford, a daughter of the late George R. and Catherine M. (Sill) Zimmerman. On March 1, 1951, in Greensboro, NC, she married Frank Klages who preceded her in death in 2001. She is survived by the following family: two sons: Frank E.P. Klages, and wife Catherine, of Millington, TN and George K. Klages and wife Caroline, of Pensacola, FL; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Margaret was a member of the Everett Church of God, and retired in 1993 after 30 years at Kennametal. She was a member of the Bedford Chapter #41 Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. William Kisner, officiating.
