Margaret M. Hunt

Margaret M. Hunt, 90, of Bedford, died Monday, June 7, 2010 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home.  She was born on May 13, 1920, in Rainsburg, a daughter, of the late Jacob A. and Nina M. (James) Perdew.  On February 13, 1937 in Berkley Springs, WV she married Charles F. Hunt who preceded her in death on March 28, 1995.  She is survived by the following family, a son, Robert Lee married to the former Charlene Denyse Low of Richmond, VA, a son, Samuel James married to the former Connie Wilt of Bedford, a daughter, Sondra Kay wife of Robert Haines of Pensacola, FL, a daughter, Constance Hunt of New Paris, eight grandchildren:  Myla, Michele, Troy, Amy, Tad, Aaron, Bruce, and Derek, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by four brothers:  Bood, James, Gene and Otis, and three sisters:  Edith, Sarah and Cora.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford, a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered for the American Cancer Society.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with the Rev. Paul E. Claycomb officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home.  Those wishing may make contributions to the American Cancer Society, Bedford Unit, 322 South Juliana Street Ste 8, Bedford, PA 15522.
