Mae Miller, 81, of Imlertown Road, Bedford, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at Rebecca’s Personal Care Home. She was born on May 1, 1935, in Schellsburg, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Carson. On December 25, 1958, in Cumberland, MD, she married Raymond W. Miller who preceded her in death on January 6, 1986. She is survived by two sisters: Hazel Frazier of St. Thomas, Elda Rose of Chambersburg; a brother, James Carson, Waynesboro; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Violet Clark, and Belle Brown; and four brothers: Raymond, Warren, Homer, and George Carson.
She retired as a seamstress from Lion Manufacturing, and enjoyed Painting, Baking, making Christmas cookies and donating them to the churches. She enjoyed helping people in need.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Timothy Sawyer officiating. Burial at Fishertown Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
