Lyn A. (Buckey) Johnson

Lyn A. Johnson, 72, of Bedford, died on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on July 18, 1951 in Fukuoka, Japan, a daughter of the late James H. and Gertrude Ellen (Stone) Buckey. On November 1, 1975 in Cumberland, MD, she married John A. Johnson who survives along with two sons: Benjamin Johnson of Pittsburgh; and Matthew Johnson of Detroit, MI; one brother Kerry Buckey of Sedona, AZ; and one sister Mary Karns and husband Ace of Bedford.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Buckey.

Lyn was a member of the Yeager Memorial Lutheran Church in Rainsburg.  She worked as a secretary with Everett Area School District and prior to that Electra Motive in Bedford.
