Louise (Weaver) Wolfe

Louise Wolfe, 96, of Bedford, died on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on April 5, 1928, in Ralphton, PA, a daughter of the late Harry and Bertha (Peck) Weaver. On August 10, 1952 in Frostburg, MD, she married Robert B. Wolfe and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2015.  She is survived by two daughters:  Jan M. Conway and husband Jerrold of Bedford; Cynthia A. Wolfe and husband Jerry Berg of Crawford, CO; three grandchildren:  Jason Conway and wife Ashley of Hurdle Mills, NC; Jenna Deiss and husband Robert Jr. of Pittsburgh; and Julie Conway of Bedford; five great-grandchildren:  Isaac and Isabella Conway; Stanley, Sawyer and Sydney Deiss; and one brother Harold Weaver of Somerset. She was preceded in death by two brothers:  Frank and Reid Weaver and three sisters:  Dorothy Pyle, Jean O’Hora, and Virginia Stutzman.

Louise worked in Somerset in the credit department for Montgomery Ward, Sears Roebuck, and was a bookkeeper of the farm bureau.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed.
