Lorraine S. Bulvin

Lorraine Shirley Bulvin 71 of 119 Monument Drive, Bedford, died Saturday June 17, 2000 at her home. She was born July 23, 1928 in South Fork, daughter of the late Fred and Leona (Frank) Weymers. On January 30 1947 in South Fork she married Alex B. Bulvin and he survives along with three children: Karan Battaglia wife of W. Benjamin Foy of Bedford, Gregory L Bulvin of New Paris, Bernadette wife of Andrew Shastay of Bedford, 7 grandchildren and a sister Leora wife of Russell White of Murrysville. She was preceded in death by a sister Marge Ripple.
Mrs. Bulvin was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford and retired in 1987 as a bookkeeper in Philadelphia for the Internal Revenue Service and prior to that had worked for McHugh Brothers in Bucks County.
Funeral Mass: Tuesday 10:00 AM from St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford with Father John C. Vago officiating. Burial in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 8:00 PM. Those wishing may make contributions to the St. Thomas Catholic School, 215 E. Penn St., Bedford, Pa. in her memory.
