Lloyd E. Markle

Lloyd E. Markle, 84, of Bedford, died on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He was born on December 11, 1941 in Breezewood, a son of the late Charles E. Sr. and Minnie (Mellott) Markle. He is survived by a sister: Barbara Tannhill of Fairhope; a brother: John Markle of Breezewood; two nephews: Nathan and Justin Gillingham; two nieces: Christina Gary and husband Mark, and Tammy Ellis and fiancé Michael; and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Charles Jr., Roger, and Earl Markle; and two sisters: Dolores and Evelyn Bussard.

Lloyd was a member of Mountain Chapel Church in Breezewood and was self employed for many years as a farmer and truck driver. He enjoyed working on various projects around the house and making crafty inventions for his tools.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 12 p.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be private at Mountain Chapel Cemetery.
