Lita P. Magirl

Lita P. Magirl, 81 of Bedford, formerly of Hall St., died Sunday May 20, 2012 at Bedford Colonial Courtyard.  She was born on November 20, 1930 a daughter of the late Clarence and Viola (Fetter) Geisler.  On August 31, 1968 in Bedford she married Bernard Magirl and he preceded her in death on April 29, 2007.  She is survived by numerous cousins.  She was a 1948 graduate of Bedford High School and attended Radford College in Virginia. She worked as an executive secretary for the Westinghouse Corporation and prior to that at the Bedford Farm Bureau.  She was an avid golfer.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with the Rev. Doug Friant officiating, Burial at Osterburg Community Cemetery.  Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Thursday.
