Lisa A. Smith

Lisa A. Smith, 49, of Everett, died Monday, November 12, 2012 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born on August 4, 1963, the daughter of the late Robert A. and A. June (Trysnicky) Helsel III. On September 19, 1987 in Everett, She married Edward M. Smith, and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2009.  She is survived by two sons: U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer E. Shawn Helsel and wife Masumi of Yokohuma, Japan, and Christopher A. Helsel of Everett, two grandchildren Gage and Lisabith, two step-grandchildren Izzabell and Gretchen, a sister, Peg Singer and husband Dan of Six Mile Run, a brother, Robert A. Helsel IV and wife Christine of McConnellsburg, a brother, Kenneth A. Helsel IV of Langdondale, a brother-in-law, Lee Smith of New Paris, father and mother in-law, Donald Smith and wife Gail of Everett, and a niece, Nancy Singer of Six Mile Run.

Lisa enjoyed spending time riding motorcycles, and being on the truck with her husband.  She also enjoyed animals.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel, at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  Friends will be received on Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Bedford County, 1108 Lutzville Road, Everett, PA 15537.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
