Linda Hargnett

Linda Hargnett, 69, of Mallard Drive, Bedford, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on February 23, 1942 in Pittsburgh, a daughter, of the late William H. and Helen (Veith) Snee. On August 17, 1968 in Monroeville she married Rollis Linn Hargnett and he preceded her in death on January of 1991. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Hargnett and partner Ian Sweetman of Bayside, NY, two brothers William H. Snee Jr. and wife Barbara of Coatsville and David Snee, and wife Barbara of York.
Linda graduated from Carnegie Melon Institute in Pittsburgh, with a Masters in Music. She started her own business in Chicago called Chrysalis Consulting Group and retired after 15 years, and then moved to Bedford to care for her mother. She was a life master with the American Contact Bridge League. Linda played the cello at a concert level and enjoyed the Opera, Disney World, animals and playing the organ.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with the Rev. Jeff Welsch officiating. Friends will be received Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
