Lillian M. (Roll) Renk

Lillian M. Renk 91, of Bedford, died Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.   She was born on October 3, 1931 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late William and Sylvia (Burkhart) Roll.  On April 1, 1952 in Hagerstown, MD she married Thoedore Renk, who preceded her in death on March 22, 2009.  She is survived by three daughters: Fawn A. Hite and husband Rick, of Troy, IL, Sherry M. Leister and husband John, of Bedford, and Vicki J. Keller and husband Steve, of Bedford; eight grandchildren: Sarah Allaria and husband Mark, Ben Hite and wife Beth, Aaron Hite and girlfriend Haley, Andy Leister and wife Brandi, Amy Davis and husband Craig, Jesse Leister and wife Lacey, Stephanie Miles and husband Jason, and Dan Keller and wife Bryn; and 19 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Lillian was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.  She enjoyed her fellowship with the church ladies and bible study, as well as her visits from the Stephen Ministry group.  Lillian loved to travel and her summers spent at Yellowstone National Park.  Her family was appreciative of the compassionate care of the nurses and staff at Donahoe Manor during her last several years.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Richard Lang officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: ProMedica Bedford, attn: Activities Account, 136 Donahue Manor Road, Bedford, PA 15522.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
