Leila E. Cessna

Leila E. Cessna, 91, of Forbes Road, Bedford, died Monday, November 30, 2015 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born on September 1, 1924, in King Twp., a daughter of the late John B. and M. Ruth (Mock) Exline. On November 22, 1945, in Imler, she married Harold B. Cessna Jr. who preceded her in death on May 5, 1994. She is survived by two sons: John H. Cessna of Bedford with whom she resided, and Jay B. Cessna married to the former Lisa A. Shaffer of Bedford; and one granddaughter, Olivia S. Cessna of Bedford.
Leila was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked as a Secretary for Better Tire Co. and then worked at the Pitt Theatre with her son, John. Her hobbies were gardening and cooking.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Bedford, with Pastor Raymond E. Short officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.
