Laverne M. Clark

LaVerne M. Clark, 80, of Bedford, went to be with the lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. She was born on March 3, 1931, in Tatesville, a daughter, of the late Harry “Frank” and Myrtle (Layton) Clark. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Gump-Blattenberger, and a sister, Leona G. Hillegass both of Bedford and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister Rose Ann Williams.
LaVerne was of the Methodist Faith, and worked 20 years as a seamstress for the Bedford Springs until its closing. LaVerne enjoyed antique cars and driving in the parades, sewing, crocheting, planting flowers, and reading her bible.
