Laura A. (Sadler) Tholen

Laura A. Tholen, 53, of Hollidaysburg, died on Thursday, June 4, 2020 peacefully at home. She was born on May 1, 1967, in Biloxi, MS a daughter of Larry Sadler Sr. of Millington, TN and Joy (Newbaker) Blackburn of Bedford. On April 17, 1987, in Kenner, LA, she married Brian Tholen who survives along with the following family: two daughters, Ashley R. Tholen of Hollidaysburg, Amber L. Tholen of Claysburg; a granddaughter Evelyn; a brother, Larry Sadler Jr. and wife Jessica of Apollo; and a sister, Pamela Baker and husband James of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her step-father Thomas Blackburn.

Laura worked at various places in Bedford some of those included Friendship Village Campground, Pennswoods and Cannondale.  Some of her favorite hobbies included gardening and making birthday and wedding cakes.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Chaplin Ruth Joudry officiating burial will be private.  Friends will be received on Monday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 at the funeral home.
