Kenneth J. Mack, 69 of Bedford, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born on February 28, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Kenneth J. and Ann E. (Williams) Mack. On Janaury 24, 1966 in McKeesport, he married Karen (Kortz) Mack who survives along with the following family: a daughter, Karen L. Donaldson and husband Charles of Bryans Road, MD, and a son, Kenneth W. Mack and wife Cherie, of Hagerstown, MD; five grandchildren: April Payne, Michael Donaldson, Ashley Mack, Kenneth J. Mack, and Andrew Mack; four great-grandchildren: Sophie Payne, Lewis Payne, Lyiana Eleazer, and Amaré Eleazer; and two brothers: William A. Mack and wife Peg, of Richmond, VA, and Edward A. Mack and wife Billie Jean, of Murrieta, CA. He was preceded in death by a brother Ronald J. Mack, widow Brenda surviving of Roanoke, VA.
Ken retired after 25 years as a police officer and Detective Grade 1 for the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington D.C.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Jeff Welsch officiating.
