Kenneth Howard Kennedy, 70, of Fishertown, died Sunday, June 1, 2003 at his residence. He was born on July 11, 1932 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Langley) Kennedy, On November 23, 1957 in Lamersville, He married Edna Smith who survives along with the following family, 5 Sons: Kenneth S. married to the former Lisa Selle of Arvada, CO, Gregory M. of Fishertown, Edward W. married to the former Dana Clendennen of Fairfax, VA, Mark H. married to the former Lesley Nicodemus of Bedford, Sean P. of Camp Hill, 2 Daughters, Cheryl wife of Robert Quinones of Stephens City, VA, and Heather wife of Ronald Walter of East Freedom. 14 grandchildren, and 1 Sister, Dolores wife of John Wyzykowski of Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter Katrina Miller, 5 brothers Ernie, Robert, Frances, James & Donald Kennedy.
He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and worked as a mason for 35 years and was also a Korean Army Veteran. .
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at 11:00 AM from the St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Father Raymond G. Crosser officiating. Burial in Bedford County Memorial Park, with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, where a vigil service will be held 8:00 PM with The Reverend Frank Schuette.
