Kenneth M. Fetters

Kenneth M. Fetters, 91, of Dillsburg, formerly of Bedford, died Saturday, October 20, 2007 at his son’s residence in Mechanicsburg. He was born on March 11, 1916 in Everett, a son of the late John W. and Ella (College) Fetters. On June 15, 1943 in Cumberland, MD he married the late Elizabeth Jeanne Fetters, and she preceded him in death on March 31, 2007.  He is survived by a son, Gary Fetters and wife Ardith of Mechanicsburg, one granddaughter, several step-grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a half brother Cloyd McFarland and a half sister Lena Robel.

He was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church.  He retired from G.C. Murphy Co. as an asst. manager after 41 years, and was also the former manager at McConnellsburg Store.

Funeral Services on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 2:00 PM  in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with the Rev. Jeff Welsch officiating.  Burial in Everett Cemetery.
