Kathy L. Smartt

Kathy “Cass” L.  Smartt, 47, of West Pitt Street Bedford, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at At her Residence.  She was born on October 16, 1958 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Robert J. Simpson and Cora E. (Howsare) Simpson, of Bedford. On June 7, 2003 in Needmore, she married Terry L. Smartt who survives along with the following family, 3 daughters, Kristi D. wife of Matthew Foster of Bedford, Amber wife of Stephen Massoni of Chester, Md, and Kala N.  Robosson of Bedford.  1 grandchild Gavin Berkey, and a brother, Robert E. Simpson of Bedford. 4 dogs Brandy, Sam, Buster and the Late Jake.

She was a member of the American Legion Pot 113 Women's Auxillary group, and the Improved order of Redman Wambic Tribe #507.  She was employed in contactor sales at Your Building Center in Everett.

Funeral Services Tuesday at 11:00 AM  in the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home Chapel, in Bedford with the Rev. Doug Poffenberger officiating.  Burial in Needmore Bible Church Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Tuesday 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home and again Tusesday evening from 5-8 PM  Those wishing may make contributions to the Needmore Bible Church, 6939 Great Cove Road, Needmore, Pa. 17238 or Home Nursing Hospice, 227 Hospital Drive, Everett, Pa. 15537.
