Kathryn Moriarty

Kathryn “Kay” Moriarty, 85 of Ross Drive, Bedford, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Altoona Hospital.  She was born March 20, 1926 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Cyril and Pauline (Chandler) Heller.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Lockhart.  On June 5, 1975 in Chester County, she married Francis X. Moriarty, and he survives along with a son Bruce P. Lockhart, married to the former Donna Turner of Bedford, two grandchildren; Denise A. wife of Kevin Mock and Bruce Lockhart Jr., one great granddaughter, Shayla R. Mock.

Mrs. Moriarty was a member of the Bedford Trinity Lutheran Church, and had worked as a secretary for Johnson Matthey Company in Malvern, for over 22 years.               Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bedford Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev.
