Kathryn Lynn (Mardorff) Avery

Kathryn Lynn Avery 75, of Markleysburg formerly of Bedford, died Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Quality Life Services in Markleysburg.  She was born on June 9, 1946 in Bedford a daughter of the late Fred G. and Hilda (Weber) Mardorff.  She is survived by the following siblings: Carolyn Suzanne Lynch widow of Daniel, of Short Gap, W.Va., Michael W. Mardorff of Harrisburg, Elizabeth “Betsy” Snider and husband Bernard “Tweet” of New Enterprise, Marianne Rogers and husband Lowell of Everett, and Nancy Sivits and husband Joseph of New Paris.  Kathryn graduated from Bedford High School in 1964 and then Prontos Beauty School in Altoona.  She worked at various jobs until her illness.  In her younger years she enjoyed traveling, and loved animals especially her cats. She also enjoyed drawing and sketching.
