Kathryn C. "Kay" Hagenbuch

Kathryn C. “Kay” Hagenbuch, 91, of Bedford, died on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on February 27, 1925, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Robert D. and Mildred (Tepe) Hagenbuch. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Weyant of Bedford, and a niece, Linda L. Steele with whom she resided with, also many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Donald, John, Robert, and Fred Hagenbuch, and one sister Lois Hagenbuch Bennett.
Kathryn was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church and worked for many years at Penn Economy Oil Co., and then for Bedford County Oil Co. until her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, family gatherings, and playing cards.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at the St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Donald Dusza celebrant. Burial at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received on Monday, from 6 -8 p.m. and at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.
