Kathleen C. (Clapper) Faust

Kathleen C. “Kice” Faust, 86, of Bedford, died Saturday, December 17, 2016 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 14, 1930, in Saxton, a daughter of the late J. Walter and Clare (Anderson) Clapper. She is survived by the following family: a daughter, Kathie Wagoner and husband Paul, of Everett, a daughter, Jackie Beegle and husband Cliff, of Bedford, a son, Andy Faust married to the former Wendi Lesh of Chambersburg; 11 grandchildren,  Paula Emerick, Mandy Nave, Tanner Wagoner, Jennie Decker, Luke Beegle, Erin Weyant, Cassie Hess, Kara Pittman, Kylee Wilkerson, and Drew and Maggie Faust; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren;  a sister, Harriett Boore and husband Ray, of Pharr, TX.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Clare Pencil.

Kathleen was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1948. She was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church, and a member and past president of the former 20th Century Club in Bedford, also a member of the Bedford Republican Women, and past President of the Calachieu Parrish Ostomy Group in Lake Charles, LA.  She was a former registrar of births and deaths for 12 years and worked part time a Fisher’s Pharmacy until retiring at age 78.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at the Bedford United Methodist Church, with Jim Miller officiating.  Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m., at the Timothy A.
