Kathleen H. Beegle

Kathleen H. Beegle, 92, of Harrisburg, formerly of Bedford, died on Monday, July 6, 2026 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare. She was born on August 28, 1933 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Smith) Hinton. On March 25, 1978 in Bedford, she married Dwight E. “Sonny” Beegle, who preceded her in death on August 9, 2022. She is survived by a daughter: Linda Etter and husband Tracy of Enola; a son: Larry Price and wife Nichole of Dauphin; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, LaFerne Wright, Pearl Black, and Margaret Daughtery-Rininger.

Kathleen proudly worked as a sales representative for Stanley Home Products/Fuller Brush Products for over 50 years. She was a member of Bedford United Methodist Church, several Red Hat Society groups, and a member and former president of the Bedford Lioness Club. Kathleen loved to sing. She sang in the church choir for many years and participated with the Bedford County Players at Old Bedford Village. She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida with Sonny and their beloved dog, Buddy. She especially liked photographing flowers and scenery along her travels.
