Karen E. (Henderson) Smith

Karen E. (Henderson) Smith 80, of Osterburg, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home.  She was born on April 1, 1941 in Goshen, NY a daughter of the late Everett H. and Veronica (Kimble) Henderson Sr.  On August 15, 1958 in Dutch Neck, NJ she married Harvey Smith who survives along with two sons: Robert Smith, of Spartanburg, SC and Neal Smith and wife Annette, of Hamburg; two daughters: Marian Wasitowski, of Flemington, NJ and Rebecca Klementovich and husband Daniel, of Pleasantville; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three brothers: Everett Henderson Jr., of Trenton, NJ, William Henderson, of Trenton, NJ, and Walter Henderson and wife Marisa, of Ewing, NJ; and a sister Susan Gould widow of Raymond, of Langhorn.  She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Shirley Ann Henderson.

Karen was a strong religious person, and attended the Weyant United Methodist Church.  She was a past President of the Ladies Aid, and enjoyed quilting, needle point, sewing, and gardening.  Karen loved and adored her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.
