Justin W. Imler, 23, of Blue Water Road Bedford, died Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at West Penn Hospital, in Pittsburgh. He was born on October 27, 1983 in Bedford, A Son of Richard T. Imler of Bedford and Virginia (Ondesko) Boone of Shelby, NC. Also surviving are a sister, Chelsi Imler and a half brother Cody Boone both of Shelby, NC, paternal grandparents, Richard W. Imler and wife Cindy of Bedford, maternal grandfather, Joseph Ondesko of Bedford, great maternal grandmother, Anna Lee of Lilly, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and God parents, Frannie & Pete Lee of Lilly. He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Florence Ondesko, great maternal grandfather Samuel Lee, and great paternal grandparents Marshall and Vivian Redinger
Justin was a junior at Shippensburg University pursing a degree in history. He was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 2002, where he played varisty football. He worked at Hoss’s for 6 years as a master cook and was also a member and alter boy at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Justin was an avid Steeler’s fan and a serious comic book enthusiast.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 10:00 AM from the St Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford, with Celebrant Father Donald Dusza officiating. Burial at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-9 PM, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 8:00 PM.
