Judith Anne Huss

Judith Anne Huss, 79, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2026 at her residence. She was born on November 4, 1946 in Englewood, NJ, a daughter of the late Edward Francis and Bernice Lorraine (Benson) Huss. She is survived by her sister, Karen Hershberger and husband Rodney of Everett; three nieces: Beth Anderson, Lisa Blackburn and husband Justin, and Jennie Miller and husband Lucas; a nephew: Brian Hershberger and wife Ashley; and eight great-nieces and nephews: Kaden Anderson, Nate and Owen Blackburn, Carson Brynn, Lilly Miller, and Hayley and Cooper Hershberger.

Judie worked as a nurse at the VA hospital for many years until her retirement. After retiring, she drove school bus and shared her love, wisdom, and guidance with the children each day. In her spare time, her love for animals was her passion. The Golden Retriever was her breed of choice, and not only did she enjoy training and showing her dogs, but volunteered promoting activities that enriched the lives of many people as well as her dogs. Judie’s spirit and laughter will be greatly missed.
