Joseph Holovich Jr.

Joseph Holovich Jr., 57, of Bedford, died on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at ProMedica Nursing Home in Bedford. He was born on October 30, 1964, in Altoona a son of the late Joseph and Shirley (Nowark) Holovich. On July 26, 2007 in Bedford, he married Katherine (Whitesell) Holovich who preceded him in death on December 4, 2020.  He is survived by a sister Mary Blackburn and husband Sam of Schellsburg, a nephew Mark Blackburn and fiancé Breanna of Osterburg and his church family.

Joe graduated from Williamsburg Community High School in 1982 and attended the Bedford Christian Missionary Alliance Church.  Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to flea markets, and was involved in the Bedford County Special Olympics as a bowler and assistant coach for many years.

At Joe’s request there will be no services.  The family would like to thank all of the health care workers, nurses, hospital staff at ProMedica and UPMC Bedford and the doctors for the loyalty and care for Joe over the past several years.
